I’m a lead art teacher passionate about creative, inclusive learning. I blend art education, special education practices, and strong classroom leadership to support every student’s growth.

The Drawing Board

The Drawing Board is my creative workspace—where ideas take shape, evolve, and come to life. Here, I share lesson plans, educational writings, resources, and all the little things that fuel my teaching and art practice. Explore, get inspired, and see what’s in the works!

Investigation NOW

Community

Through Investigation NOW, I have worked as a lead art teacher for a class of 13-16-year-old students from a multitude of artistic backgrounds and skill levels under the theme of community. This class creates a place where art education can exist outside of the K-12 space to build community, artistic skills, and self-reflection.

Computer Technology

in Art Education

Here you will find five lessons and my statement of praxis I have created for my class, "Computer Technology in Art Education" at Virginia Commonwealth University. I used layouts created by my instructor to come up with Lesson Plans for classes that had technological themes. Each lesson plan uses technology to plan, create, and/or execute an art project.

Case Study

Analyzing the Development of a 16 Year Old Girl

This case study explores Haley, a bright, active, and unique 16-year-old. Through two interviews and months of careful research, writing, and editing, I ensured confidentiality while analyzing her development. My goal was to connect real-world observations to developmental theories, gaining insights that can enhance my understanding of future students.
